It depend on the location where you want your photoshoot to take place. Local - 50 KM (one way) from Red Deer is included. Anything more than that is charged extra.

I am happy to travel anywhere within AB, BC, SK, depending on the session booked and location. Contact me for more details.

Travel within 50 KM (one way) from Red Deer is included in the price of your photoshoot | wedding package.

Any other travel is at the mileage fee of 55 cent per km + if necessary accommodation fee. I prefer to book my own room and will always stay in reasonably priced places.

I love film and all my edits of black and white are inspired by 35mm film. I would describe my color edits to be true to color. I like to add some grain for more depth. More storytelling images are getting more of the grain then the traditional portraits.

I am photographer that likes to capture the true beauty. I think that everybody is different, unique and beautiful regardless of their body shape, who they love, what they believe. The imperfectness and messiness of being a human is the most beautiful version of ourselves. The wrinkleless on our faces are telling our stories, the smile lines are testament of laughs. I don't use Photoshop and won't adjust any body shape, weight. When it comes to acne and some small blemishes, don't worry, it will be gone!

I won't be giving any RAW images away. You hired me to do my job, based on my style and editing is part of the process. In fact, editing is such a huge part of the photography, that without my editing style, the picture doesn't turn into the photo you desire.

Each session will be different and customized so we can capture you and your family as unique as you are.

Local and Destination Sessions include pre-session communication via email, text or call. You will also receive a "What to Wear Guide" for your reference.

I know that having a camera in your face can be weird and uncomfortable, and to pose on top of that! Don't stress about it! I will guide you during the session and give you suggestions and prompts so we can capture the natural and true version of you, your family and your partner. Just show up, do not worry about it and have fun along the way.

Not sure which session is right for you? The lifestyle session is perfect if you are looking to capture more of a story telling images, the connections between you with more intention. It is more than just simply taking pictures, but it is about telling your story. I like to choose a theme - picnic, song writing, playing cards and games etc to capture the unique connection between you, the candid moments, the raw emotion. This session is longer, more slower in pace. We will pick a theme, color scheme, the right location and create meaningful images that tell your story.

Don't worry about it. Once we book your session, I will send you a What to Wear Guide to help you to put your outfit together. Please avoid large patterns, logos or writings on clothing. BE COMFY and natural fibers and earthy color looks amazing in most settings. Don't match but compliment, lead with personality. Bring multiple outfits to change to. Layers are always fun, hats, toques, scarfs. Simply adding a jacket or scarf helps to have a variety of photos. Color schemes can help you as well as checking some ideas on Pinteres.

You will receive your fully edited online gallery within 2 - 4 weeks (depending on booked session type). All images are high resolution. The gallery will stay open for about a month.

I like to shoot in the golden hour which is one hour after sunrise or one hour before sunset to get the nice low sun. If that doesn't work - in the summer it can be way past bedtime - we can talk about other options. During the day a shaded location is ideal, in your home session etc. If you want the fall colors, late September and October are the best. Just make sure to reach out, these months are desirable and getting filled fast.

Non-refundable retainer and signed contract is required to secure your time for Session - $200.00. Remaining payment is due ONE month prior to your session date.

Yes. I will be more than happy to suggest a suitable location. I will ask you a few questions about your preferences. City or Lake? Town or Mountain? Trees or Sand? These questions will help me to suggest a specific location for the session.

Once your session is booked you will receive an email with a What to Wear Guide and suggestions. You should feel good in your clothes, and comfy. Stay true to yourself, your style and let your kids bring their favorite toy or blanket or even let them pick what they want to wear. Everything doesn't need to match! Opposite. Each of your personalities are different so why match it! It should compliment each other to create balanced harmony. Less is sometimes better. Solid natural colors, elegant prints, dresses and hats... If you are struggling to put your outfit together, don't worry, I am here to help you. Check my blog as well for some inspo.

Yes! Absolutely! Nothing better than to have a furry member included! Just let me know ahead of time so I can have some treats for them:)

I am a planner by nature. Every Intimate and Wedding Package includes in-person or virtual consultation a couple of weeks prior so there are no surprises on the day + basic photography schedule. As soon as you book with me, you will receive a "Wedding Guide" including things that you might have not thought about such as First Look, Getting ready etc. I want your special day to be about you, you enjoying and taking every moment in.

If you book the Essential or Ultimate Package, your engagement session is included. If you like to add an engagement session to Intimate or Custom Package, let me know. It is a good idea to book it with me so we get to know each other before your special day. This way, I won't be a stranger meeting you on your wedding day! You get to know me, my flow of work, the way how I give prompts.

It takes me six to eight weeks to select, edit and deliver your gallery. I will have sneak photos for you ready one week after your Wedding day (approx. 30 images). Once your online gallery is delivered, I will print a few of my favorite photos, upload all the gallery to a wooden USB and deliver it in person or by mail to your home. I will leave your gallery online for about a month so you can share it with your family and friends.

I like having a second photographer on the team to capture details of the wedding that I won't be able to just by myself. You should consider having two photographers if it is important to you to have photos of every detail of your day, the candid moments of your guests and family. Different angles and more of a variety of photos. Also I would consider adding another photographer if you and your partner are getting ready in a different location.

Non-refundable deposit and signed contract is required to secure your Wedding Package - 50% of the package price. Remaining payment is due 90 days prior to your wedding date.

Yes. I am definitely interested in a wedding that take place somewhere other than central Alberta. Anywhere in Canada and also international weddings! Travel fee (travel, accommodation and any permits or park entry fees) will be charged separately - exact cost will depend on the location. Contact me for more information.

Timelines make your day flow smoothly. I am a planner by nature and love spreadsheets. I will help you and prepare a basic photography timeline so we know when and where, what is happening. One thing to remember is that things almost always take longer than you think. Allow some time in between getting ready, first look, ceremony to breathe, have a minute to yourself.

First Look is definitely becoming my favorite part of the day. The time just between you and your partner before the ceremony takes place. There are a couple of ways for First Look and we can discuss it more in the planning but my hands down favorite is when you write a love letter or vows to each other while getting ready and read it privately, just between you two.

If you like to keep it more traditional, this might not be the option for you. Maybe consider First Look with your parent/s or bridesmaids.
